This piece has a strong voice, when I saw it it just sung out to me. I love the model, whoever they are they are handsome, smooth, beautiful. The colors and tones portray what you wanted, and even though the model seems small and frail they have an inner light shining out. The light shows how brave they really are, and how they have a strong glow around them in such a gloomy atmosphere. The dark shapes seem like a jungle behind them, and for some reason, maybe the title, it reminds me of Aslan, the Lion Creator in all of the Narnia books.

comment spree! i had forgotten about your earlier work... different coloring. i really like the hair and face and eyes. it's a different kind of expression than your newer works. i like how everything you do is so expressive, says so much. you have a gift for that!

when i saw this she immediately appeared frail... maybe delicate is a better way to put that -certainly beautiful a creature done justice by your vision. does she need protecting? i wouldnt underestimate her will. people, even the most translucent can make it through

Oh this one needs no protecting....but there was a time when we talked of being protectors...a Lion at the cave while the other slept....
